Ollie & Bear Dog Professionals is hiring for a part time contracted position, potentially leading to full time.

About Our Company:
We are a San Francisco based Dog Walking Company looking to hire a responsible, reliable & enthusiastic Dog Handler to join our Walk And Train program! Our focus is to keep dogs safe, loved and well exercised.
Qualifications:
Have a valid California driver's license.
You must have your own reliable vehicle that can transport 8 dogs (we can help you set it up).
Willing to commit for 1+ years.
Prior caregiver experience-- with either dogs/animals OR children: farm, vet, horse experience, or equivalent. A nanny, teacher, caregiver background is great, too!
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Pick up 6-8 dogs on neighborhood route and take them to the beach or trail. Podcasts, audio book & music time!
Will hike 2-4 miles / day with 6-8 off-leash dogs in all weather conditions.
Manage and monitor dog group behavior to ensure healthy play.
Take pictures and videos of dogs having a blast!
Client communication.
Towel off and light grooming of dogs before they go home.
Drop off dogs. More podcast time!
Work Monday through Friday 9am - 3pm, hours may vary.
Tolerate poop, puke, slobber & other messes.

Pay: Paid 6-week training $16/hour. Starting salary is $20 per pack walk dog, $40 per day camp dog with room for increase with growth in skill progression.
